Goldfield, Arizona got it start in 1893 and had become a ghost town for the first time in 1898. It was later revived, but became a ghost again in 1924. In 1984, The town site was purchased in a restoration project began. It is now a popular tourist attraction.The Church on the Mount is one of its surviving structures.
