Mandalas Among The Stars Collection - A hand-drawn, digitally created, sun, mandala and universe inspired art design.
This fiery colored mandala, inspired by the sun in our solar system is complemented with a universe of small stars on a black background and finished with 2 orange and reddish starbursts of light and colorful lens spots.
With a turn of events which included a recent online encounter with fellow artist, David Manlove, I became inspired to create a new mandala for my "Mandalas Among The Stars" series representing our sun and specifically for the CBS Sunday Morning show known for its iconic sun logo, that I have watched over the years and that my mother who had also recently suggested I submit one of my universe mandalas to the show, after she was seeing artwork they have been displaying at the end of the show, including David's artwork. I submitted the image for consideration.
Updates: I was notified that this image will be displayed on air on CBS...
